Agnes Monica was born on July 6th, 1986 in Indonesia.

She started her career as a child artist at the early age of 6. Her album as a child was not a big hit, and of course she wasn't sure yet which way her career was heading

In 2003 she released her album "The Story Goes" which became an instant hit with 3 songs hitting the charts :"Bilang Saja", "Cinta Mati" and "Jera".

Her next album was even a bigger hit. "Whaddup A" sold over 50.000 copies in just 3 days.

In 2006 she surprised Indonesia with the most expensive video ever made by an Indonesian artist, but it showed that she was as professional as international standards required, and it seems she is ready for the international stage.

She has announced that in 2007 and 2008 she will be touring outside Indonesia, even in Europe and the USA.
