Weezer is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1992.

They have released five full-length albums, three EPs, and a DVD; the first album was later re-released as a remastered deluxe edition. Their most recent album, Make Believe, was released on May 10, 2005.

Weezer is currently recording their sixth album, with a tentative release for the first half of 2008 in mind. They have sold more than 10 million records to date in the US.
Meanwhile, Rivers Cuomo is releasing a demo-compilation album entitled Alone - The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo at the end of 2007.

Due December 18, 2007 the set includes "my favorite home demos from ‘92 to ‘07 featuring a lot of never heard before songs, a few covers, a few songs from my unfinished rock musical Songs From The Black Hole and my original demo for "Buddy Holly"," Cuomo says.
