Geta Burlacu has won the Moldovan national selection with the song A Century Of Love and will participate in the first Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade on Tuesday, 20th of May.

Geta Burlacu was born on July 22, 1974, she is a famous Moldovan jazz singer. Burlacu will represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the "A Century Of Love" song.

Burlacu has studied at music college as a violinist and at the Moldovian conservatory as a jazz singer. She has since performed solo and with the bands "Univox Vocal Band", "Acid Grape" and "Right Horns".

In 2006, she was one of the finalists in the Moldovan Eurovision preselection, sharing first place in the first stage with Alexa and Sergiu Kuzenkoff. She eventually won the right to represents Moldova with the song "A Century Of Love"
