Nico and Vlad Mirita, the Romanian representatives of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song Pe-o margine de lume entered the Romanian top 100 charts at number 76 while on the visitors top charts they are at number 9.

Nicoleta Matei was born on 1 February 1970 and Vlad Mirita was born on 2 August 1981. Nicoleta Matei started her creer between 1996 and 1999 “The Prize for The Best Female Voice” awarded on National Festival of Variety Shows Theatres from Constantza. In 1998 “The Prize for The Best Female Voice” awarded on “Ion Vasilescu” Festival. In 2003  “The Second Prize” at the “GOLDEN STAG” International Pop Music Festival Brasov, Romania

Vlad Mirita is a tenor, and his most important participation are New Year’s Eve Concert under Romanian Government patronage with the occasion of Romanian European Integration; Proms of Delight Easter Edition 2007; Venetia Salutes Bucharest 16 May 2007.

Nico and Vlad Mirita will represent Romania with the song Pe-o mergine de lume (On the edge of the world) composed by Andrei Tudor who will also appear on stage playing the piano. The stage performance of the Romanian duet still remains a mystery but as they stated their performance will be a surprise.

Romania will appear in the first semifinal at position 17.
