Keri Hilson (real name - Keri Lynn Hilson) is an American R&B singer and songwriter signed to Zone 4/Mosley Music Group/Interscope Records. She was born on October 27, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Keri Hilson has been writing music for individual artists since 2001. She has written music for Toni Braxton, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Teairra Mari, Ciara, the Pussycat Dolls, Avant, Ruben Studdard, B5, Diddy, Chingy, LeToya, Ludacris, Rich Boy and others.
In 2006, Hilson reappeared on the music scene in the video for Nelly Furtado's single "Promiscuous". Since then Hilson has signed with Timbaland's new label Mosley Music Group which is in association with Interscope Records.
In 2007, Hilson has had several appearances on Timbaland's solo effort, Shock Value. She is featured on "The Way I Are", "Scream", and "Miscommunication". On international versions, she is also featured on a track titled "Hello". She was also featured in "Lost Girls" and "Good Things" on Rich Boy's debut album. On Britney Spears' 2007 album Blackout, Hilson is credited as a writer and backing vocalist.
A promotional video of her song "Where Did He Go" has leaked recently. It is unknown if this is going to be released as a single or if it is even to appear on the Album. Hilson recently released a single entitled "Get It Girl" with Timbaland. It is available through iTunes.
Hilson previously collaborated with Justin Timberlake on a song entitled, "Headsprung". The song charted on the Bulgarian National Top 40 and so far it peaked at number 31. |
