Paula Seling is an appreciated Romanian singer. She was born on December 25, 1978 in Baia Mare, Romania.
At the age of 15, she joined the Art School and she became a member of a musical group, Enders. She graduated from "Gheorghe Sincai" College in Baia Mare.
In 1996, she won the "Aurelian Andreescu" Award, under the attentive surveillance of Ms. Anda Popp. The same year, she was a back up voice for Narcisa Suciu at "Cerbul de Aur" festival.
The next year was a full year for her. She graduated from "Gheorghe Sincai" College in Baia Mare, she won "Mamaia festival" and released her first album, "Only love". In 1999, she won another prize with at the same festival, Hit of the year for the song "Ploaie in luna lui Marte" (Rain in Murch).
Paula Seling continued winning all sorts of awards, as: Best voice- Video Music Awards 2002, Best Artist in a video - Romanian Music Awards 2002, "Cerbul de Aur" trofee - Brasov 2002, "Woman of the year" - "Avantaje" magazine 2002, International festivals: "Fidof" from Cesme, (Turkey), Skopje (Macedonia), La Valetta(Malta). |
