Maksim (real name – Marina Maksimova) is a Russian singer. She was born in Kazani, Russia.

As Maksim affirmed everything in her life happened as it should. At the beginning she attended vocal courses in Kazani (Russia). Concomitantly she attended classes of sports.

While studying at school, Maksim began to take part at many festivals as “Teen star”. "Nefertitti's bungle"… At these festivals she debuted with the lyrics of well known singers as: Celin Dion, Janna Aguzarova… After a short period of time she began to travel to Murmansk, Peterburg, Habarovsk, Yakutsk (Russian cities)

After graduating school, Maksim went to study in Russia where she has signed a collaboration contract with “S.B.A/Gala Records” and began working on her debut album.

Maksim is a talented person. She composes not only the music for her lyrics, but as well words. Her first single became the song “Trudnii vozrast” (Difficult age). In a short period of time it became very famous on Pop Radio and Russian Radio. In 2005 Maksim released a video for the same hit which was on the top charts on MTV.
