Class is a Romanian dance act formed by Mihaela Cernea, Mihaela Florea, Vlad Cernea and Florin Cojocaru in 1994.
The act appeared on a big scene on November 16, 1994 at a party for teenagers. It debuted with the only song at that time named “Synchronise”. After this appearance it began its activity with Star school. Its great success was considered the lyric “Raspuns” (Answer) that was among the first hits for Eurovision 1996.
In 1996 Class released its debut album entitled “Raspuns” (Answer). The album was considered the first dance music album from Romania. In July, 1999 Class released its second album “Aproape de tine” (Close to you). The album includes “Danseaza in noapte” (Dancing at night), “Simti energia” (Do you feel the power), “Inca o data” (Once again)…
In 2002, the act released another album “Intr-o zi” (One day). The album includes “Luna mi-a zimbit” (The moon gave me a smile), which has been on no 1 on the Romanian Top 100 music charts for 7 weeks. In 2004, Class recorded the album “Pentru dragoste” (For love) with the help of Media Services / Cat Music. |
