A-Studio is a Russian pop band. It has four band members Bergali Serkebaev, Vladimir Miklishichi, Baglan Sadvakasov and Katy.
Initially the band was named Aray. In 1988 it is known for another name “Almata”. Almata released its first album” Puti bez ostanovok” (Ceaselessly way) within Melodia firm. In 1989 the band released the song “Djuliet”. The song interested Ala Pugachiova (a famous Russian singer) and the band was invited to work in her song theatre. In 1990 the band became famous. The same year it released the album “Djuliet” and was invited to ply in a music film.
In 1991, the band already named A-Studio worked in Greg Walsh studio in London. It released three demo-tracks in English. The collaboration with Walsh was restarted in 1996 and 1998, when he was invited to be present at the release of another two albums “Neliubimaya” (Unloved) and “Greshnaya strasti” (Guilty desire).
In 1992 the pop band began to take part at many national and international festivals as: Ritm na Reke (Rhythm on the river), “Aziatskii obmen jivoi muziki” (Asian exchange of life music) (Japan)… In 1997 they released the album “The best” where the best songs of the band’s activity were included.
In 2001 A-Studio began their collaboration with NOX Music. Two years later the band took part on “Fox kids Planet Live” show in Holland.
