This sixth season of “American Idol” hasn't been graced with as many iPod-worthy moments as the past year, when contestants Chris Daughtry, Paris Bennett, Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington and Elliott Yamin kept our iPod's hard-drive humming, according to Miami Herald.

This year, “Idol” has foregone the usual cast recording CD that generally hits stores about this time. Instead, AmericanIdol.com has been selling audio and video performances as downloads.

The Top 3 performances picked by Miami Herald belong to the same contestant, the youngest, 17-year-old Jordin Sparks: “I (Who Have Nothing),” “A Broken Wing,” “You'll Never Walk Alone.”

“Have a Nice Day,” performed by Melinda Doolittle is on the fourth. She takes a nothing Bon Jovi song and stamps it with conviction, soul and energy and winds up with the season's rockingest track.

“Blaze of Glory,” performed by Phil Stacey, is the fifth choice of the Miami Herald. This Jon Bon Jovi cover was Phil's third keeper in a row after fine renditions of Keith Urban and Garth Brooks' songs and it got him bumped off. Shame.

“Diamonds Are Forever,” performed by LaKisha Jones, continues the list. It was LaKisha's only sign of personality and flair all season.

“You Belong to Me,” performed by Sherman Pore it’s the seventh choice here. He wasn't a finalist -- 64-year-olds can't be on Idol. This gentleman finagled his way into the audition room in January and sang this standard to his ''lady love'' who had died two days before of ovarian cancer.

“I'm a Woman,” performed by Melinda and “Smile,” performed by Gina Glocksen get the eighth and ninth positions.

Finally, the 10th position goes to controversial Sanjaya Malakar who performed “Bésame Mucho”. This cheeky performance had some charm from the one contestant who truly became a household name this season.
