Bon Jovi abandoned autobiography plans
Bon Jovi have abandoned a planned autobiography after they were unable to decide on what to include, reveals Billboard.com
The rockers were collaborating with author David Ritz on a book about their 25-year career but realised they were not being completely honest in their revelations.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi told Billboard: "We were limiting ourselves in what we'd say, so when you're having reservations you're not telling the truth.
"And, if you're not telling the truth, what's the point? So we gave [the publishers] their money back and called it a day."
However, the group is still going ahead with a documentary by Oscar-winning director Barbara Kopple which follows their current
tour.
Jon Bon Jovi added: "It's either gonna tell the truth or it's not coming out. There's been a lot of accomplishments in 25 years. There's a story there. There's a reason why."
