Groban's holiday CD holds at No. 1
Josh Groban's holiday CD "Noel" is No. 1 on the U.S. album charts for a third straight week.
The achievement ties Groban with Elvis Presley, who holds the record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1 with a Christmas album, Billboard.com said Wednesday.
Coming in at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 is Alicia Keys' "As I Am," followed by the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden" at No. 3, the compilation disc "Now 26" at No. 4 and Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" at No. 5.
Rounding out the top 10 are the "High School Musical 2" soundtrack at No. 6, Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride" at No. 7, Garth Brooks' "The Ultimate Hits" at No. 8, Taylor Swift's self-titled debut at No. 9 and Blake Lewis' "Audio Day Dream" at No. 10.
Sales this week are down 23.3 percent from the same week last year, however, the numbers are up 17.9 percent from last week, BIllboard.com said. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
