Moldova: highschool student composed the Eurovision entry for Natalia
The song that will represent Moldova in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, "Fight", song was composed spontaneously by Alexandru Brasoveanu and Elena Buga. But who is Alexandru Brasoveanu? It is yet an another unknown name in Moldovan showbiz. Natalia has only words of praise for her composer. ''Although the public at large doesn't know him, he is a promising song writer for sure''. Alexandru is 19 years old and is studying in his last year at the ''Ciprian Porumbescu'' Highschool. ''I am very confident in the song that Alexandru has composed for me, although is not a final version,'' said Natalia. ''Despite of the fact that I appear in a new state, I am very happy about the song because it is strong, and the chorus is easy to remember.''
Natalia accepts that by participating in the Eurovision Song Contest she is taking a risk. ''If the artists don't place in the top ten, people and the fans forget them. I just want to be satisfied of what I'm going to do on stage''. Regarding the Helsinki performance, Natalia will focus on all the aspects permitted by the song: voice, violin, show, and the outfits- but she doesn't know yet where the money will come from, saying ''We'll have a meeting with organisers to discuss about the investment. I am a novice and I don't know how a 'Eurovision' is prepared for here. We will handle it'', she promised.
