P Diddy retiring from music
Great news, rapper SEAN COMBS P Diddy retiring from music is planning to quit music to pursue a full-time career in acting. The star has scaled down his hip-hop projects in recent years, so he can expand an acting resume that includes a Broadway stint in A Raisin in the Sun and a critically-acclaimed role in 2001 Oscar-winning movie Monster's Ball.
Combs recently revealed he would be reprising his Broadway role in a TV version of A Raisin in the Sun - and he hopes it will help him make a move to acting full-time. 
He says, "Right now I'm transitioning from a recording artist to acting. Having an opportunity to play this role, it really changed my life.
Diddy (Sean John Combs) was born on November 4, 1969 is an American record producer, mogul, CEO, clothing designer, and a rapper. He was brought into the hip hop industry by life long friend Sami Al-Hakkak.
