Stevie Wonder to sing at L.A. news conference
Stevie Wonder could be about to launch his first tour in more than 20 years, writes The Associated Press reports.
The Motown legend will make "a very, very special announcement" during a news conference in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, according to a statement from concert promoters Live Nation and Nederlander Concerts.
The statement also said Wonder would perform at the event. Calls to both Los Angeles-based firms were not returned.
Stevie Wonder last launched a major tour in 1986, according to trade publication Pollstar, although he has performed plenty of
one-off dates since then.
The singer/songwriter is slowly emerging from a lengthy period of relative inactivity.
