Victoria Beckham: American Idol judge
Victoria Beckham will be a guest judge on one episode of American Idol of the upcoming season, her rep confirms.
The 35-year-old former Spice Girl will sit at the judging table alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
On Thursday morning, Idol host Ryan Seacrest revealed that Posh will be judging tomorrow’s auditions in Denver, Colorado.
Posh has previously served as guest judge of Project Runway.
Yesterday, it was announced that Paula Abdul would not be returning for the new season of Idol. Paula was reportedly offered a multiyear deal that would have put her annual salary at over $5 million – a 30 percent raise.
The ninth season of American Idol kicks off January 2010.
