He was a God, a King, a son, a father and a man.

Last night a world said goodbye to a man that gathered people and gave them joy throutgh the music.

At the Michael Jackson public memorial service held at Staples Center on Tuesday (July 7) in Los Angeles was present all his family, most of friends, fans and people who cared about Michael Jackson.

The stars that paid tribute to the King of Pop was Ron Boyd,  Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey,  Andrae Crouch Choir, Berry Gordy, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jafargholi,  Magic Johnson,  Martin Luther King III,  Bernice A. King,  John Mayer,  Lionel Richie,  Smokey Robinson, Rev. Al Sharpton,  Brooke Shields,  Pastor Lucious Smith,  Usher and Stevie Wonder.

You can watch the appearence of Mariah Carey that performed a song of of Jackson 5’s hit “I’ll Be There.” She was joined onstage by Trey Lorenz, who recorded a 1992 duet of the song, which became Mariah’s first worldwide number one.

John Mayer performs “Human Nature” at the Michael Jackson public memorial service held at Staples Center on Tuesday (July 7) in Los Angeles.

“I’m honored to have been asked to play at MJ’s memorial service,” the 31-year-old performer said. “I will be representing all of us who can’t be there. Going to say goodbye from all us kids. I also want you to know that I’m going not to ‘perform’ but to contribute… Proud to be a musician.”

The most impresionant moment of the event was the speach of Paris Jackson, the 11-year-old daughter of the King of Pop that gavea a tearful goodbye.

Paris Katherine Jackson stepped up to the microphone to close the show: “I just wanted to say, ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say, I love him so much.”

Michael, you will be missed here.

RIP.
