Bryan Adams has written a song about Amy Winehouse warning the troubled star that she’s flirting with death, according to Daily Star.
The Canadian singer — who invited the ‘Rehab’ star to stay at his Caribbean villa last year — expresses his fears for the singer in a song called Flower Grown Wild.
Amy has even agreed to perform the tune on stage with the megastar when he goes on tour later this year.
A source said: “Bryan was so concerned about Amy when she came to stay. It’s an unlikely friendship but Bryan has taken her under his wing, and he would be distraught if anything happened to her.”
With the lyrics, “Amid the stars and the bars, the pimps and pills” and “the picture faded and the day was done, went home to nothin’ but a loaded gun,” it’s clear Bryan, 48, fears for Amy.
Despite several attempts at rehab and endless pleas from her family and friends, Amy, 24, seems to have fallen back into her old  ways.
The Grammy Award winning singer was earlier this week pictured on a shopping trip with a rash on her face, and scars on her arms. Bryan has noticed them too and doesn’t want her to be, “just another little pretty thing, another angel with a broken wing.”
Bryan sings on his new album 11, out this week: “She may look like a lady, but she’s a flower grown wild”, adding, “Nobody saw the tears in your silk and lace, the scarred little kid behind your face.”
