Radiohead played an exclusive BBC matinee concert to just 300 people in London this afternoon.
Thom Yorke and co performed a short, nine-song set to a crowd of competition winners at the broadcaster's Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House.
A selection of the songs were aired on Steve Lamacq's 6 Music show this evening, with the set comprising principally newer material.
Nothing recorded any earlier than 2000's "Kid A" was aired, with the group playing "Optimistic" twice alongside a host of tracks from current record "In Rainbows".
The band are set to play another gig this evening on the BBC, this time for Stuart Maconie and Mark Radcliffe's Radio 2 show. |
