Britney Spears’ pal Sam Lutfi has agreed to stay away from the troubled star through July 31, court sources say.
Judge Aviva Bob granted the Spears family’s request on Wednesday to extend the restraining order against the singer’s onetime manager. Lawyers were in attendance but neither Sam nor a member of the family appeared at court.
Lutfi has been forbidden from going within 250 yards of Spears and her home since February, after Lynne Spears — Britney’s mother — accused him of drugging the pop star.
Michael Sands, Lutfi’s spokesperson, insists he has been cooperating with the Spears family. “Sam and the family are communicating and cooperating trying to do whats best for Britney,” he said.
