Beyoncé and Jay-Z are officially husband and wife, relates Daily Mirror.
The pair — who married in a secret ceremony earlier this month — filed a marriage license last Friday in Scarsdale, New York, Showbiz Spy has learned.
On April 1st, the pair — who have been a couple since 2002 — “applied for a marriage license”, according to Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling.
“They were very low-key and weren’t dressed up,” she says. “They did not have a large entourage.”
The pair, who have always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays  around the world, took the license home that day, Conkling says, to have their secret April 4 NYC wedding.
They signed the document and mailed it in after the ceremony.
“We received it back on Friday,” Conkling says.
