For the first in his career, Stevie Wonder will tour Europe, organizers said on Thursday.

Wonder will open the trek on September 8 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England. The tour is due to end on Sept. 28 at the Bercy in Paris, with stops in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy on the way.

"I am looking forward to performing in these venues in Europe," Wonder, 58, said in a statement. "We are going to have some wonderful nights of intimate excitement."// Reuters
