The MTW winner Bailey Hanks, was seen for the first time on Broadway during the auditions for the hit musical Legally Blonde. But she knew all about Elle Woods, the perky coed-turned-Harvard Law whiz, writes USA Today.

"I saw both Legally Blonde movies as soon as they came out," says Hanks.

Hanks is replacing Laura Bell Bundy and she already has recorded a song from the show, So Much Better.

Hanks has signed a six months contract to appear in Legally Blonde.

As everything is going well, she still reflect about resuming her studies after her run.

Soon, she would be tempted by another Broadway offer, particularly if it were her "second favorite" role: Wicked's Glinda, created by Kristin Chenoweth.
