Colombian singer Shakira holds up her trophies during a press conference at the Oye! awards in the city of Puebla, Mexico on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.
Colombian pop diva Shakira won in five categories at Premios Oye!, a Mexican music award ceremony.
Shakira, who is playing a series of concerts in Mexico, won best album for Oral Fixation Volume 2, song of the year in Spanish for "Las caderas no mienten" and song in the year in English for "Hips Don't Lie," b est video and a special award for song writing in her song "Dia de enero."
Premios Oye! is hosted by The National Academy of Music in Mexico, an association of musicians, record company executives, music journalists and others.
The ceremony was Thursday night, said AP.
