EMI has become the last of the four major music firms to allow its videos on YouTube, relates Reuters.

Website users will now formally be able to access music videos by artists on the label. The deal is also expected to mean users can take the video and put it into their own work on YouTube.

Chad Hurley, chief executive of YouTube, welcomed the news: "We're excited to add EMI Music's stellar roster of artists' content to our site and make it available to our community."

YouTube is currently facing legal action from some entertainment companies. These include Viacom Media, owner of MTV and Nickelodeon, which is suing for $1billion (£505m). It says the site uses its shows illegally.
