Rapper Foxy Brown reportedly was robbed of her purse, which contained her hearing aid, while in New York.
Although Brown denies she was robbed, police allege Roshawn Anthony, 23, stole Brown's purse, which contained money, necklaces and the star's hearing aid, the New York Post reported Sunday. Anthony was arrested Saturday night and reportedly will be charged with robbery.
Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, just laughed and dismissed reports she'd been robbed when approached outside her Brooklyn home. She called it "a false tip."
"I have friends all over Brooklyn but I was not there last night," she said. "I just got back this morning from Miami."
Although the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office has a different opinion, insisting Brown was robbed, and that the thief was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International |
