The main talk at Elton John's 9th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball in Windsor, Britain, was about high heel-wearing guests sinking into the ground.
Numerous celebrities could be seen shrinking up to five inches as their heels slid into the ground that turned into a quagmire by heavy rain earlier in the day, The Telegraph reported Saturday.
"I'm just off to aerate the lawn," joked singer Louise Redknapp.
But not everyone fell to the same fate, the British newspaper said. Some stars, including Louise Fennell, the wife of jeweler Theo, who was dressed as the Runaway Bride, admitted: "I'm wearing trainers."
The party had a Las Vegas theme, complete with a pink stretch Cadillac, giant inflatables from John's Caesars Palace gigs and a cast of seven Elvis look-alikes.
